What's up with this DAW?
Looking very nice! Really looking to make a switch.
Any insight on this DAW?

It's just like Logic, but more user friendly. Timestretching can be a pain in the ass. Limited MIDI support / mapping.

Definitely ableton. My school has PS S1 because we have a Studio Live 16.4.2 that we use for our live pa front of house setup, I don't think I've ever heard of a single person using it though... Everyone just routes the Studio Live into Pro Tools and records that way. I would definitely recommend Ableton over that, it can do everything any other daw can do and if you learn the hotkeys its much easier and quicker to navigate than the others. (or at least with what I've experienced, protools logic ableton and a opened cubase once lol)

I love it very easy to navigate, everything is drag and drop. Timestretching is easy I find, hold alt and stretch the clip, but can only up to 4 times or 0.25 if i'm not mistaken. It comes with great quality effects, but lacks instruments. It only has 1 sampler, 1 drum pad sampler, 1 synth (never used it tbh). It's great, but I'm not saying you should get it over Live or any other daw. Why? Cuz it's about what YOU are comfortable with and works best for YOU. So I suggest you try the demo of both (and other daws too unless you narrowed it down to these two) and see which suits you best
