Hard to pinpoint an exact time when I was the happiest regarding dubstep, but it was probably somewhere in between listening to a podcast by Youngsta and hearing Badman VIP by Kryptic Minds for the first time. Life's been good ever since.

Throwing the first dubstep shows in MPLS and watching a room of people all getting down (before the bro took control.)

Hearing Mala - Too Much Chat on a funktion1 system

Hearing Toasty - The Knowledge for the first time

Joe Nice dropping the dubplate of Breakage - Higher and electrical lightning shooting out one of the speakers

Every wheel up I've ever done.

Reconstrvct x Outlook party in NYC earlier this month. Getting to see Pinch (among others,) in a warehouse in Brklyn.

Vaccine's first mix (still the best dubstep mix ever done imo)

Everytime I get a new record and the feeling of putting it on the shelf amongst its peers.

Getting compliments like "i never really like dubstep till i heard you play"

Every time I've seen Joe Nice.

N-Type in seattle 2007. We had it all on the line, bringing a headliner out when we werent sure we had the audience for it yet, newish venue and battled alot of hate along the way against dubstep (to slow to dance to...remember that one anyone?lol)....the show went off and im not sure weve had quite that level of enthusiasm and thick of a vibe in there since tbh, weve had the heads in the club but this N-type show was rediculious the way people were screaming their asses off. seattle dubstep history imo.

Hearing "Horror Show" for the first time in '04 or '05 and getting honest to goodness goosebumps on the back of my neck.

Seeing Skream on a Friday night at Smart Bar, absolutely rammo, super sweaty, and him dropping his 'In From The Kill' remix for one of the first times ever, from the edge... went off, regardless of what you might think of the tune now.

Full on spangled at DMZ V after a lot of tear out skanking and substance abuse. Found some space and Quest came on a played Smooth Skin... literally melted on the stage. Amazing. :U: :w:

well, since my saddest moment was the scrapped darkstar material, I'd say my happiest was finding out they gave "Digital" a free release

pretty shit compared to some of all your moments, but I'm too young for club nights :(

I agreee ya dig!!

Hearing dubstep for the first time could be my happiest moment. Just that very exciting time of discovering it and unravelling all these labels, producers and radio shows.

Going to DMZ for the first time with my dad (A genuine badman). Leaving after Digital Mystikz Getting in to the car and my dad saying "Its just a load of fucking bass,I tell you what that is not what you hear on the radio". He stood outside for %90 of the night. Said he couldn't take it. XD

This is always my favorite. Where I'm at, Brostep dominates the scene, so a lot of people just 'hate dubstep'. Sometimes they'll even ask me what I was playing when I'm done....What was that?
... It's dubstep
...Oh, I didn't know there was good dubstep. ;)

Bringing the following acts to Portland were some highlights as well:

6Blocc and Busdriver
Hatcha at an outdoor venue...Complaining about his trainers being ruined, lol, but one of the best sets I've heard to this day.
Sukh Knight at an outdoor rave
Babylon System at the same party
K.J. Sawka doing a live dubstep set
