fresh tunage vs agglomerated sludge

Post by nousd » Tue Jun 26, 2012 11:15 am

the difference seems to be clairaudience:
an imagined structure + undistracted execution
in contrast to the smorgasbord of sounds
that characterizes 95% of current production

please,
lets have some self-censorship
leave the cluttered electro gurgles & tinkles
out with the rubbish

the best, as always, is either exquisitely refined
or distinctively raw & untraceably derived,
requiring thought, patience & the elimination of random crap
to avoid the quicksand of indulgent dross.

I'm glad someone got the irony,
but then it is pretty obvious eh?

Furthermore ...
:1:
can we have the boring bits edited out.

Like, how about considering my jaded tastes
not just your tolerance for vacuuous repetition.

Think idrone & anti-anaesthesis.

Skim the top of it's fluff, bottom for the obvious.

O
needless to say, this doesn't apply to Be-1ne or Caski
but I understand that you have to pretend to not understand what I'm saying
so as to not alienate the sludge-makers & lovers amongst us ;-)

to reiterate with an analogy:

the accretion of sound effects
without an underlying strong idea/synthesizing aesthetic
just makes diaper-disposable noise
in the same way that dabbled paint is one mix away from shit brown.
