Mars One "reality show"

Anyone seen this? Basically concept for a big brother show (pretty much) on mars...and it's a one way trip.
Would you go?

In the event it was real though...I don't think anyone could live there till they die naturally.

It wouldnt be possible to take enough supplies with them to last long, so they would have to grown their own food, feed it co2 from the atmosphere and send the oxygen in to living areas and bottle any excess for use outside. For water they could melt ice from the caps or underground. But of course this is stupidly expensive and wont happen for a long time

Sure, it just seemed obvious that Investors would be cagey over such pie-in-the-sky ideas. Hey, I'd love it if it could be done!

I honestly think there are probably more than a few programs that were just taken offline in terms of public scrutiny and the current program is mostly a show being out on to make people think we're not as far along as we actually are and to more painlessly ease people into knowing about new technologies.
