Didn't he or one of the others have an album called 'I'm Gay'? And it was a hoax for attention?
Anyway I never understood why people feel the need to make this stuff public.

Takes some serious balls to come out, let alone when you're a famous rapper.
Have any other major rappers come out as being gay before?

'Cause they don't wanna feel like their sexuality should be one big secret.

That was Lil B, but he was just trying to be contraversial really. Can't help but think he started a conversation though.
Dre next?

Yeah fair enough, and respect to the guy for being brave enough to say what he wants. Maybe there was controversy over it that I don't know of that he wanted to set straight or something. I just mean I still find it really weird stuff like that is considered news is all. I'm sure there's quite a few other gay or bisexual artists over the years who felt obligated to put on a big front.
I would like to see a dancehall artist come out.

Yeah but this is hip-hop. It's quite a big deal. I would've rather s een a big name, estalibshed artist rather than an up and coming R&B singer, but babysteps I suppose.
And I mean, I think he'd rather just say it himself than have paparazzi catch him walking hand in hand with a guy and then have media coming up with tons of assumpstions, stories and rumors. At least this way he takes some wind out of their sails and has some control over it.

Errrmm.. maybe b'cos of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$?
Look at Lady Gaga, Jessie J, Prince.. sexuality sells and the pink pound is strong. If this is pre-meditated it will get Frank firmly into the mainstream

every rapper talking bout hoes and every pop rock whatever person singing love songs is making their heterosexuality public dont they.
the reason its such a big deal is cause we make it such a big deal. i wouldnt mind homosexual dancehall or trap (badum-tss) music, its not like i'll end up buttfucking dudes because of it eh.
also hes probably not even gay but bisexual. now assuming every 10th guy is gay (think about it, how many guys do you hang out with? chances are one or two of them are gay but thats besides the point) how many must be bisexual?
of course im pretty certain most theoretically bisexuals live a 100% straight life without even considering themselves bisexual, every once in a while going OH GOD WHAT HAVE I DONE after jacking off to pictures of linetrap
anyway i dont get this whole "yeah i accept homosexuality but it has to be kept a secret everything else is attention whoring and accusing the world of homophobia" mindset. its reactionary bullshit and somehow reeks of virgins on imageboards going apeshit whenever one of the countless girls posting states that she is, in fact, a girl. woop-dee fucking doo (god i miss the times when imageboards werent like that).
im not into fat butts but i think booty bass is mad fun, im not into guys but i think this tune is frickin amazing
