So you've been producing for only a few months and you want a magic wand? Not trying to be an ass (OK...a little...), but you need to ask a specific question about something. What the heck is listing your software set up going to help us do for you? There is nothing we can say to magically make you good. Now you respond, "I wasn't asking for that". And I respond, "Maybe, but you didn't ask anything specific...it *read* like you were whining because you didn't become amazing in a few months, regardless of your actual intentions with this post."
Read/watch tutorials, experiment with what you learn, learn music theory, learn to play an instrument, listen to new/different music, do something else creative, give up. Focus on learning the ins and outs of your DAW and ONE SYNTH. Komplete is a huge fucking cavern of sound design to get lost in.

I know you weren't. And I was only trying to be a bit of prick. But seriously...random tips...are well...random...we have no clue what you need. Something specific would be much more helpful. Otherwise my biggest tip is read the stickies at the top of the Production forum.

yeah man i started out with FL studio on a beater laptop and had NO other software or hardware. i got as far as i could with that, then i added something. learned one vst at a time. not messed around with, no. figured out what everything does, read the entire manual. practically all software and hardware will come with manuals. they don't put them in the box for fun, they are informative, and if you were bright you would insist on informing yourself. not to mention the fact that you started out pretty much all at once with ableton AND KOMPLETE when i am just comfortable working with massive and FM8, you are bombarded with a lot more to learn at once, giving yourself too many options too soon. think about how K-12 school is laid out.
on the creativity note that's something i've struggled with sometimes as well, and honestly it's about going inside and paying attention to your thoughts and emotions, figuring out what specifically for you gives you that feeling in your chest that i get when im passionate and inspired. don't forget inspiration can come from negative shit as well..
good luck man!

if you're talking about melodic ideas, the best way is to play along with music. get your keyboard, try and work out melodies from songs you listen to (ones from electronic music are perfect because they're all simple). the more you do this, itll become increasingly easy to play your ideas as soon as you think of them.
everything else is just time. oh, time *sampha voice*

Haha the problem is not that you can't do it, but that you think that'll change.
Its just part of writing music, the finished product is never going to be exactly the same as the idea for your song.

forget your ideas (for now) and learn to use the tools. No good having a great idea for 9 foot illustration if you dont know how to hold a pen.
Pick out music with sounds you like, then try and recreate them. Hunt down similar sounds, read threads, watch the youtubes etc, give it at least another 6 months. Ideas are useless until you have a realistic chance of creating them, or at least stumbling upon something you are happy with in the process. Skilled musicians who had worked at their craft for many years used to have ideas, then a year later after involving 30 other musical individuals and an assorted cast of business men, manufacturers and designs they end up with an album of 11 tunes in a shop, still works that way in a lot of circles. Essentially you want to be able to complete about 28 of those musical individuals roles on your own, its not going to take you a combined total of 200 years to learn it all like they did, a computer can shave maybe 199 years off the total but its still going to take some time and effort.
Keep going, hit a brick wall, walk away from it, come back, go further, hit another wall, take another break... have faith it will start sinking in after a while and you will be glad you stuck with it.
