lFO in Logic (Controlling the wobble bass)

Hey, forum!
I never made much dubstep before. Now i'm pretty hooked and i started using Logic express 7. Everything is working out fine. There is one big problem though, when i make the wobbly bass, it's not completely oscillating in step with the rest of the tune . I make it with with an LFO using the built in ESE synthesizer. First i tried to sit and fine tune manually, but it didn't work. Then i edited "LFO Rate" in Track Automation, and saw that the knob controlling the LFO only has a resolution of 100, that means i can't make it like "6.000 HZ" or "4.000", it can only be set to "4.100" or "6.200", and thats not in step.
Anyone using Logic that can help? thanks in advance

I just found a reply via the search:
http://dubstepforum.com/viewtopic.php?t ... ight=logic
That helped me. But i still dont see how you can be precise with these little knobs... When down messing with 1.000hz it's round numbers... but can't hit a precise 6.000hz.. Why would anyone want something like 4,324 hz odd numbers anyway?

carnt you sync the lfo rate to only move in even numbers.
never used logic so i dont no what the synth your using is like.
sorry for the vague reply.

that would be neat. Anyone know if such a function exists in Logic?

im sure it will its a function that ive seen on every lfo based synth.
if not why dont you get a synth that can, like ni massive or some thing like that.

stop using the ese.
es1/es2/exs24 all sync to tempo.

cool, i am trashing the ese. I have another question though. I am trying to make a nice bass in the es1. But i sounds like someones hitting the speaker with a stick, at the start of each note. wtf???
look:

is it something in the settings?... there's no effects on the channel??... help

Give it less attack and more release on the ADSR section. Just nudge them till it sounds alright.

thanks for the replies but they don't work... .turning resonance down or tuning the attack and release, just changes the way the "click" sounds....???

it's weird... by changing the "out level" (in the bottom), i can remove most of the clicks... but not all of them... It must be a an error of some kind... any one know what it is?

It's your synth. Use the higher end ones and they synch cause I use Logic and never had a problem using EXS24 or whatever
