Some cool vibes in here, some bits feel a lil 'Purpley' :D

Snare could do with a bit more punch maybe?

big up

Great sounding track mate. :i:
outbound is right mate, snare could be punchier and should really punch through. Some sidechaining/eqing could def help.
(compressing might work too <-- im not too good with that though.)
Like that melody alot mate.
Big up! :4:
P.S. When is it gonna be released? :i:

I didn't think it was the type of song that needed a punchy snare, so I think all I did was layer a snare and woodblock sound together, no compression, eq, no anything at all. I guess I can work on the snare some more. I agree that it's in the background more than the kick. The kick was easy as well, surprisingly not much work on it I think.

I might release it eventually, but not sure what to do.

I made a little update to the song, the pad part in the intro and towards the end. What do you guys think? Does it make it better? This will probably be the final version.

could sound really good with some EQ'ing and some mastering work. punchier drums, and tighter bass. compression perhaps?

Compression on the master? If that's what you mean, I'm saving mastering for a paid engineer. How would you eq it?
