I cant for the life of me, find out how to make the "Sweepy Phaser Pad" sound used in alot of songs. Its kinda like white noise but it has phases. An example is around 29 seconds of this song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LPD1ZDEE ... 7647F383D7
I have no problem searching for it myself, but I have no idea what its even called. Thanks in advance

Check out the thread above, then just sidechain to a silent 4x4 kick and filter the sound in.

Yes, saw based patch with white noise, sidechained and filtered in. Mess around with other fx if you want it more "phasy".

Sounds like white noise with Tremolo on mid, then faded out, and then synced to the kick.

phase? sounds like it was the pad he had faintly in the intro but w/ just a hipass filter over it and slowly automated the filter cutoff so it has that 'rising' effect
