Ok So I know this is probably going to be an easy answer to a stupid question, and I really cant figure out why I cant figure this out, but a very common but effective effect I first heard in datsik, excision "Swagga" using massive to cause the bass to sound like it fizzles out or is pushed through a bitcrush filter. If anyone could help me out with this that would be awesome. I really want this effect.

omg. i knew it was going to be simple. All I've ever used is pitch ups and wobble effects. Wow thanks much, I can now quit wasting time trying to figure that out.

Actually, I don't think this one's been asked before. Not that I've seen.
It's a bit odd that the guy knows how to pitch things up, but was stumped about pitching things down...that's why he's being made fun of. Because the answer was very obvious, something that any non-musician should be able to pick up on.

This thread is less asking how to sound like them than it is asking how to take a sound and pitch it down.
