Slime welcomes back to the label Bristol-based producer Powder Hill for his second EP. After the enduring success of his debut 'Aenda', his release became a mainstay of garage sets up and down the country. Now he's back to show he's not one for confinment to any genre. For his return, he takes his cinematic approach to production and straps it to two mammoth dubstep tracks that can only be described as epic.

'Hillmatic' makes its intentions clear from the start; foundation-shaking bassweight combined with ominous choral samples and spiralling strings overlay an intricate, stuttering drum pattern that will leave the dancefloor breathless trying to keep up. Out of nowhere, the beat switches to a rapid 4/4 tempo to push energy levels off the chart.

'Resuscitation' opens with vintage rave bleeps and a weapons-grade level beat that will be demolishing dancefloors for some time to come. The melancholy vibe of his debut release still permeates the mood of this track, as chords shot through with an ethereal quality provide an interplay to the sweeping grandiose power of the drums.
