Many interesting things happened this year... I'd like to start a topic to point the events... Important labels, releases, producers, DJs, tunes... A pool is worth of value? Let me know what you think, ok?

Best,

Bruno Belluomini.

for me two things that come to mind is,

kode 9 sets at FWD where he'd continually drop new Terror Danjah tunes amongst halfstep stuff and generally mix it up really thoroughly.

and

pressure - money honey on hyperdub :)

Yeah ! The august mix by Skream has been determinant this year but also the Dubstep Allstars vol. 2 mixed by Youngsta !
My 2 cents ;-)

dmz nights have been fuckin brilliant. hearing the music on a system created by the musicians and skanking till the early hours surrounded by people who love what they're hearing has been the highlight of 2005 for me.

My picks for the absolute largest bombs dropped in 2005 =

D1 - "Crackbong rmx" (Loefah)
Loefah & Skream - "28 Grams"
Skream - "Smiling Faces"
Mystikz - "Officer"
Distance - "Fallen"

Frankly, I think this has been the year of DMZ. The label has blown up, the nite has blown up, the tunes are all huge.

For me they're only one part of the scene and music that I dig, but there's no denying their omnipresence in 2005.

Great to see how the scences progressed in 2005...

Vex'd' getting there awesome album out on Planet Mu..
Dmz - all releases and events. Skream's absolutly smashing it with every tune he's made...

I think the amount of events that have came about this year is fantastic for the scene and i just hope they continue.. DMZ / Destructive / Subloaded and the events UK heads are playing at oversea's...

This forum - much needed after the disapearance of dubplate, everyone buying tunes, writing blogs, playing out and making beatz...

2006 is gonna be big.... Bring it on !!!!

Obviously there has been loads of amazing releases this year but for me what's making this year special is having artists coming over here to the US and educating the yocals :D

i think 2006 is going to be big for this scene in america. if we all can build a solid dependable network of people, that are really down for sharing travel costs, we could be doing dubstep east-west tours, and big events. it's all about jumping in and taking risks. big up to you descent and all the positivity crew. ez.
