Dubstep Allstars 9 - faulty discs?

Just grabbed this from HMV, and while there are indeed 24 tracks on the disc, I'm fairly sure they shouldn't all be silent with occasional bursts of white noise. Could be I'm just unlucky, or there might be a bad batch. Tried emailing Tempa, but their contact@ address bounces, which is helpful. Anyone else got their copies yet?

Yea it's been recalled by the distributor - you'll have to take it back for a refund. Think it's going to be re-manufactured.

Ah, good to know. Seems to be happening more recently - some of the first copies of Rustie's album were shipped with the All Nite promo disc inside instead. Warp quickly replaced them, guess I'll have to take this one back.

take it back mayne.
The distro recalled all copies but I guess some shops just didn't bother and carried on selling the borked version - I've definitely had the new copies at chemical....

nah we returned all ours first time apparently although i was on holiday at the time...
3 people have come back and we have none to sell at this time...of course i returned it but just want the cd and my staff discount

Yeah I ordered it from Boomkat and got another faulty one although they replaced it in double quick time. They said a few fucked ones had been mixed in with the new batch, so ask the store to check the disc before they send it/sell it to you.
