Hey all :t:
Just wondering, because the sound engine in reason is "inferior" or whatever the term may be, if i bounce the stems to audio and load them into Ableton will the stems still retain the "Reason" sound? Ive been wanting to export and do mixdowns in Ableton to make the sound less, Reason-ey, but if they still do retain the Reason sound is it worth it?

Any suggestions are appreciated :W:

It's not.

No such thing. The stems will sound how the generators, and effects and processors make them sound.

No. If you prefer the mixing process in Ableton, or you want to use external plugins then that's a good reason (npi) to mix outside of Reason, but an attempt to get rid of a mythological inferior sound by spending lots of wonga does not count as a good reason.

Getting your mixdown bang on does infinitely more for your sound quality than using Ableton's sound engine to mix instead of Reason's.
