Hey guys,
I'm pretty new when it comes to dubstep so I'd love to get some feedback from you.
I'm not entirely happy with the intro and break and I've messed up some compression during mastering but I'm taking this all to the next project instead of spending ages on the same track.

Re: Flavor F - Bass Bugs (midrange, i guess)
The midrange bass takes over the tune and drowns out the relatively weak kick/snare that make up the beat.
Re: Flavor F - Bass Bugs (midrange, i guess)
Thanks wub! I didn't think much of it but you're totally right, the beat gets completely drowned.
Thanks for having a listen.

I think if you dial down the reverb a bit it should fix the drowning issue. Plus a few notches out of the lead/bass
Re: Flavor F - Bass Bugs (midrange, i guess)
Thanks man! Good points, I should do a bit more of notching freq out but I never spend enough time on it. I never thought about the reverb but it makes sense. Also I could probably have done a better job with the freq splitting on the bass.general knowledge wrote:I think if you dial down the reverb a bit it should fix the drowning issue.
