This isn't really a sidechain device tho is it? More of a volume automation device, as there's no sidechain signal.

Might be useful for house music, but not so much for dnb or dubstep as you can't set the rate or sync it to something other than the start of the beat.

if you want a real sidechain device that will sidechain actual parameters, then get sbx parameter sidechain 1.0

Didn't Deadmau5 commission a plugin that for a similar purpose called "LFO Tool" or something?

I remember him talking about it on the Mau5hax when Spor was on it.

To be honest i was just commenting on this plugin as it doesn't really do what it says on the tin. But thanks for the info. I usually use camelphat for volume automation and pro-c for real sidechaining, amongst others.

my link wasnt really for sidechain compression like the post is trying to imitate. its for sidechaining any parameter in ableton to a sound
