Hey all I haven't posted in awhile but I have one song on soundcloud and it uploaded perfectly but when I try to upload one of my other songs it says "oops, trying again in 30 seconds" but it just keeps doing that. It only says that for one specific song. anyone know why?

there's the old one. Some problems created by the newfangled one aren't present in the old one, maybe your problem is one of those?

Also what filetype is it? Is it a very large .wav file?

I think you should just wait a couple of hours and everything will be back on track - maybe it's something wrong with their servers.

Well he's already waited 11 days

its actually been a lot longer than 11 days haha. I just gave uup on it for awhile. I will try the older one and no its not any bigger than the other song I have up there. It is a wav file.

Try re-xporting it?

Is it a remix?

Ive tried re exporting it and no its not a remix its an original

Some possible options

1. Soundcloud doesn't like the song. Try Bandcamp, or upload it to youtube.
2. Re-export it from the DAW and maybe convert it to mp3.
3. During the transcoding phase, some permutation of your song in binary form is sending a false loop to soundcloud causing it to crash.
4. 1 and 3 are BS.

This has happened to me quiet a few times, the best thing to do is to update your Adoobe Flash player on your computer.
