Listeners who liked Ak0pian's previous body of work won't be disappointed with this single. This guy has been producing smooth melodies since his debut EP with DFRNT’s Echodub label. The two tracks in this package are both incredibly ambient pieces of music. 'Fillings' incorporates a light, smooth bass line that melts into the song, some powerful sounding drums that glide through the track as well as sparse, reverbed vocal samples and pads. 'Places', has a more prominent bassline and punchier drums, but is still a very ambient and relaxing piece, lasting 4:52 and not a second feels bloated or unneeded.
A very creative and solid release that i hope you’ll enjoy as much as i did!
