NI Massive Sound Issue, Help Needed Please

So whenever I make a sound in Massive I hop onto FL to put it into a song and I make a melody in the piano roll as usual and stick that pattern onto the playlist. The issue is each time the pattern plays the sound in Massive sounds a little different each time the pattern plays, I can provide a Soundcloud link to what I mean if necessary and any help would be greatly appreciated,

Thanks for your time :)

Go the voicing tab, set it to monophonic.

Thank you sir! Can you explain to me why the sound changed like that? I'm just curious

Polyphonic plays multiple voices - which are pretty much going to phase in and out and give you a more dynamic changing sound.

Monophonic is going to play one or two voices consistently and give you a more consistent sound.

pol·y·phon·ic/ˌpäliˈfänik/
Adjective:
Producing many sounds simultaneously; many-voiced

mon·o·phon·ic/ˌmänəˈfänik/
Adjective:
Consisting of a single musical line, without accompaniment.

Ah yes but sometimes, for me anyway this has very er.... random consequences.

I agree fully. Sometimes when I hit restart via gate I get something that sounds like a downpitched phaser.

And if you want to make those sliding type of sounds, heres one way to do it. Set to monophonic and the second one to legato triller. Now when you press notes it will only play one at a time so if you press note 1 and hold it and press note 2 it slides from the note 1 to note 2.

the difference between polyphonic and monophonic is how many keys you can hold down at once, monophonic you can only hold down 1 key at a time, polyphonic you can hold down multiple keys, its doesnt change how consistent the phase of the oscillators is, which causes the inconsistency in massive.

this changes the consistency

check out this thread for notes on how to use the 'restart via gate' option and manually offset the oscillator phases, might help you out.
