i wish this cat would just make up his mind and/or stop biting the latest style to seem relevant.
he's not a bad producer he just lacks any semblance of originality.
So its OK for every other producer to jump on bandwagons (as opposed to progress) for your information
this track was made way back (before any Joy/Boddika releases) and its Ok for Joy to jump from Fidget
to super cool arse licking step, check your facts and do some research, remember Louises Lovers (Joy making
fidget house remixes of the likes of FrankMusik, 3 months before the release of Hyph?)
Also Chi step, you racist idiot!

its not about them jumping from genre to genre its about how A1 hasnt got his own "style". Joy O went from making fidget house to making hyph which was like nothing else that was about at the time (that i know of). Most of A1's releases have hints of other well known producers

WTF Does Joy O making fidget house have to do with this? Infact how do you know he didn't make Hyph before he did that remix?

Lol, Chi-step is referring to Chicago, not China!
Joy Orbison might've changed, but absolutely nothing sounded like Hyph Mngo when it came out. He changed to something fresh. A1 Bassline might make decent tunes, but he just hops and hops onto whatever is cool at the time. He's obviously a solid producer, and would get a lot more respect from me if he struck out and did something that isn't get rinsed to death at the moment.

um is this a1bassline himself lol or perhaps little bro alfie (a millwall supporter)
dunno lol but seems legit. this forum is spasticated.
pity is has to always descend into this kind of childish nonsense
Although he has gone through some Sub Genres he should of made different alias for the sound he is making now. I remember seeing the post on here about Joy making fidget house but i think allot of producers, especially the younger generation go through different sub genres of dance music to find there sound. I mean if you listen to hyph to the stuff joy is making now its totally different but there is progression and i see that the same with A1 Bassline. I dont think Slur was a Joy/Boddika Rip though, it was used in a flight mix last year so the song must of been written before the Sunklo stuff had been exposed.

Yes yes! I have been saying this for ages! no one remember when he was in Partyshank? that was pretty cool around the time as well
These tunes aren't bad at all ,they do sound a bit in the joy-o / Boddika vein , but they latest boddika /joy o stuff sounds nothing like the previous boddika/ joy o stuff
no ones really hating on him, there just commenting on how his releases seem to sound like the popular sounds of the time. I feel with the new Joy O/Boddika stuff you can still tell it sounds like there music, its got there style. A1 hasnt really developed his own style, just look at that pets release. If you played the tunes separately you could think there all by different artists. He is a good producer, he just need to focus his sound more and make his tracks identifiable
i know it's not fair to say but that first one sounds like a disclosure track, innit
no idea when it was written, but it sounds like it could have been taken directly from their fact mix.

Did you all have an impeccable taste in house music when you were 14 or something, stop being such a try hard beg.
As people get older, their tastes change. I for one am glad to see him experimenting with new styles and excelling in them too.
Not many artists can say they've released tunes on Southern Fried and Dirtybird, as well as having set up their own label.
Cut the hate or fuck off... Oh and before you go, go and listen to SOUL BEAT RUNNING and you'll hear he's no amateur.
not saying taste's don't change, and i won't lie, i've played some of his stuff out before. maybe i was a bit irreverent with my first comment but i stand by the message: dude is a good producer (definitely not amateur) but doesn't offer much in the way of novelty or originality. the whole point is that, regardless of when the music was written (as though that matters, by the way...you think people only hear tunes after they're released? ) his music just blends in with the rest of the scene to me. it doesn't stand out.
as for that "cut the hate or fuck off" bit, basically what you're saying is either support the music or don't express an opinion. well i think you know where you can shove that advice, mate.
