First of all thank you for viewing this. My name is Raynosa and I'm fairly new to production and even pretty new to the heavy EDM community but I give so much respect to every style that has evolved in the UK and here in the States. I'm also learning immense loads of information about production and production styles. I use Ableton Live 8 and heavily use NI synths. I mainly use patches I create and am always open to advise and respectful criticism.
This is one of my tracks called Arcade Overload. It's a Glitch/Brostep track based at 140 BPM in the key of Am/G. If you have any questions or comments ask them here or on my SoundCloud page (which is barren of a few tracks but sure will have a lot more coming soon). Thanks again.
EDIT: Fixed the link to be embedded, not just a link.

Re: Raynosa - Arcade Overload (Glitch/Brostep)
Decent, just very poorly mastered. Things are fighting for space at the drop
Re: Raynosa - Arcade Overload (Glitch/Brostep)
Dammit, I knew someone was gonna say something about the mastering, to be honest, I need to work at that, I want it to sound good but I also wanted it to hit HARD. thanks for the tip bro
Re: Raynosa - Arcade Overload (Glitch/Brostep)
A good way to do that is to throw a spectral analyzer on EVERYTHING. Then, see what's clashing in the same frequency and try to take out the less important part
Re: Raynosa - Arcade Overload (Glitch/Brostep)
Also, instead of panning, try a narrow bass followed by a thick bass. If you use massive, a narrow bass is one without a tube filter, a thick bass is one with. Sausage fattener also helps
Re: Raynosa - Arcade Overload (Glitch/Brostep)
I throw a Spectrum on my Sub Bass and my Master, I don't throw it on EVERYTHING, but I will start. I will also try the narrow and thick bass stuff as well. Thanks again.
