Hi guys,
I posted this track a few days ago while it was incomplete, now that it's done I'd like some feedack on the full track.

As per usual, I'm open to any kind of critique!

Cheers, James.

might work on the mixdown a bit, but besides that it sounds really melodic and sexy i dig it! :h:

Awesome! Very nice synthwork. There's something about the drums I don't like though... Maybe it's just me.

The intro sounds great, it's very nice.

It might be nice to try a varying attack on the arpegiated melody - from slow attack to the current (current to start at around 00:30)? And equally I feel the noize sweep should come in @ ~ 00:15 and slightly louder than currently.

What I would change in the intro however is the way in which it builds. I would like to have the H@ to start at the very begining - Support the arpeg.

I would have liked the vocals to have run almost acapella for no more than 30 sedconds, and then the drums build into an epic 'drop', for this to happen I belive it would simply mean inverting the current drum setup?

I agree, I believe this lies in the BD and snare being very similar - Am I right in saying that the BD plays with the snare? I would change this - If your looking to keep the low inpact this has on the snare simply use a different BD, but higher up in the low end HZ.

There is alot of reverb on that snare also - Designate a clap sample to see to this? It might also be worth adding some snap to this snare, and again a clap could be the answer. I do also think that there is a significant amount of top end missing (disregarding the the arpeg and vox), the balancing needs a lot of work.

Hope this helps?

i agree, i can't put my finger on it. where the one-shots that you used for the kick/snare resampled from another song? they're nice samples and they would really fit the song nicely but they sound kind of lo-fi to me. that's why i'm thinking maybe they were resampled from somewhere that was just an mp3 to start and some of the fullness of the sounded were lost or maybe there's some filtering that's responsible for it. it's not critical probably but it standed out a little bit to me also.

other than that, nice work on the melodies and everything else!
