Re: snoop dogg & kode 9
even if 50,000 of snoop's followers clicked on that kode 9 link, the world of music is in a better place for it.alphacat wrote:Whaaaaaaaaaat!

Re: snoop dogg & kode 9
True. I just tend to automatically associate him with the Kode9 camp. Guess I need to work through my preconceptions (again.)LumiNiscent wrote:Spaceape has tunes with The Bug, Burial & Martynalphacat wrote:Whaaaaaaaaaat!

@Seckle: yes. Yes, you're absolutely right about that. Also wonder if FlyLo had anything to do with this introduction.
Although...
To be fair, whenever there's an exchange between a mainstream/aboveground style and a less than mainstream/underground style, usually the big bad mainstream style makes out better I think. They get an infusion of fresh ideas while the pilfered sound gets an influx of big dummies. Could be the curmudgeonitis talking again tho too.

Maybe it's just because Memories... is such a sick album, but you need Spaceape's dread vox for Kode. NOTHING ELSE.McGuigan wrote:snoops voice would complement kode9s beats so well
Re: snoop dogg & kode 9
now hes going to come and produce a non mid range screetching dubstep track as a further part of his midlife crises that saw him convert to snoop lion and produce reggae

Snoop always has really dumb, cheesy lyrics based on whichever artist he works with. On that Gorillaz track he was on he was all "PICTURE AND ANIMATE ME".
Can`t wait to see what his Kode9 lyrics will be. "WITH THE KODE9, ON A DUB THANG THATS SO FINE.".
