Some of the shit doesnt interest as much as others but i know other peeps that love that shit.So i think thats just straight quailty variety...nothing mediocre about it.

quality reissues as well as new artists.

most recently i heard a peanut butter wolf EP which was ace - perfect golden age east-coast sound with tripped out psych atmospheres and dope flows. niiiiiiiiice! any other PBW anyone would recommend?
only way to avoid the sad fate which befell D'n'B is to embrace the true essence of dub, which is viral, and to infect everything under the sun, to spread across the entire world, be it Egypt or Vietnam or Cuba, and to mutate in adaptation to different contexts, ideas, and places.

I'm sayin, I'm all about Stones Throw. IMO one of the best independant hip hop labes right now. Madlib is the man...

stones throw deserve all the money they get, they consistently release great music with great artwork.

anyone else a bit disappointed that declaime (dudley perkins) has stopped mcing and only does singing? declaime's voice is unique and it seems a waste to not mc with it any more.

too many good albums and tracks on this label to reccomend.
