sampling Burzum in dubstep?

so im sitting here listening to http://dubstep.fm and i hear a track ive not heard before and there is unquestionably heavy burzum sampling going on. its some sort of synthesized wind instrument sound from the tail end of burzum stuff when he was getting way more electronic and so forth. it was definitely not a burzum track mixed in/over the mix, but sampling his work.

id dig thru the burzum material, which i mostly know only by sound, and find the track from him that was sampled - but im at work.

anyone know who did this tune? name? label? etc?

thanks in advance.

Dubstep definitely needs more samples from anti-semitic church burning satanists right now. Big look for the scene!

*edit*

n/m - not worth it. if you want to assume someone sampling burzum is such a big deal and that it would be an additional negative scene point for the dubstep scene (wtf is a scene, anyway?) - so be it.

to the matter at hand - anyone know the tune then?

Superb - about time more Dubstep and metal made a crossover.

I can imagine some of the stuff from Filosofem would be superb in a Dubstep tune. I guess Burial's bound to do it sooner or later!

On a different note, does anyone have any metal recommendations for tunes which could be mixed with Dubstep (ie metal with that same 1/2 step wobble)?

It does for me, not being particularly well disposed to anti-semites and racists.

But y'know don't let me stop you enjoying it. Maybe there could be a whole new sub-genre of dubstep dedicated to sampling racist musicians?

the latter half of burzums work is not metal.

pagan? definitely.
arsonist? sure.
murderer? probably.
satanist? nope.
racist? doubtful.

upstanding person? not really.
great musician? definitely.

He still embraces racism and eugenics in other texts on his homepage.

i dont agree with eugenics, but im not going to discount a talented musician based on it thats for sure.

i would suggest, and my viewpoint is, that the "racist" viewpoints he still embraces on his homepage are just eugenics based viewpoinits misconstrued.

"The reason I have been drawn to and occasionally have expressed support for "nazism" is mainly because many of the Norwegian (and German) "sizan" embraced our Pagan religion as our blood-religion and they rejected Judeo-Christianity as Jewish heresy"
he opposes "race-mixing"

Filosofem was his last studio album pre-prison (he only released two in prison) and was about as obscure and metal as it got! And he's always had dark ambience running through his stuff.

Plus, it IS about time more Dubstep and metal made a cross-over.

i didnt come here to debate, if i had, i wouldve said something like:

hey, i heard burzum in a dubstep tune, what do you all think of that based on the information, fact or fiction, made available about varg?

we know you dont like him and think belief systems are proportionately as important as musical craft and quality.

his belief system isnt important to me, i enjoy the latter half of his work a great deal.

moving on...

so.

no one knows the tune?

maybe "latter-half" was overstating. latter "third", that better?

oterhwise - i agree.

sometimes its pretty hard to separate someone's personal philosophy from their artistic expression. yeah, the music may be good but if the inspiration and driving force behind what made that music is deplorable and hard to justify then the music can be judged in the same way, imho.

i agree.

but maybe im missing something. where is burzums most recent released music pushing what his belief system is? his early black metal work, both in and out of burzum mightve been more along those lines. and while i enjoy that stuff enuff, its his latter more classical influence synth based music (which also was the sampling i heard in the dubstep tune im inquiring about!) i really love - and i never heard/saw mention of anything of his negative side and belief system associated with it - more fantasy and pagan sorts of themes, yeah?

On a related note (clearly nobody knows the tune..it could've been an extended blend. I'd LOVE Filosofem on vinyl...anyway..) does anyone have a link for that Vex'd mix (was it Vex'd?) on MAH ages ago, cutting up phat wobbling dubstep with Sunn 0))), Khanate, ISIS etc. Fell asleep whilst listening to it live. Ah the joys of drugs...anyway...help finding this mix would be appreciated.

putting politics to the side for a minute, burzum are pants. do people listen to this stuff past age 15?

on a serious note, if you're going to listen to burzum, best to download stuff. i'm assuming people don't want their money going towards any of the bullshit he pushes.
