CUBASE 5 VOLUME CONTROLS LOCKED

My Cubase Volume controls are all locked. Why? Any way to fix this? Any help would be much appreciated.

How do you mean locked? Like they're grayed out and you can't alter any of them?

its probably due to the track being frozen, really stupidly and annoyingly you cant even change the volume of a frozen track

You can change the volume on a frozen track in Cubase 5, just tried it to double check. You can't add any insert effects once a track is frozen, but all of the mixer controls still work fine.

I've never had the volume controls freeze up before tho so i'd be interested to know why its happening.
