When you forget to save a track...

Has this happened to any of you guys? You're making a song and you're like "yea i'm feelin' this". You leave for a snack break and come back, exit your DAW and forget to save
lol, just happened to me, i was making something totally different than what I usually do and actually like it :/

Most software will prompt before you exit. No idea what you're using.

Happened on a tune I was really feeling instead of forgetting to save Ableton just crashed on me and refused to recover the work. I was able to rebuild it from scratch for the most part and release it but fuck man, its such a shitty feeling.
