Do you think too many bass sounds can kill a song? Should there be a limit?

If you listen in reallllllllllllllllly closely to a lot of top edm producers that do crazy bass shit like Far Too Loud, Skrillex etc. they have a bunch of basses in the backround that is seriously at like -10db to -15db. You can hear it doing its own pattern and such going alongside the main basslines that you actually hear.
So the answer is no, just has to be mixed well and precisely with skill & taste. They fill up all the frequencies well to make it sound fat

Yes. Too much of anything that could always be a bad thing.

No. 100 bass sounds could be amazing provided you could get them to work properly.

Yeah absolutely there can be too many sounds. Personally I can't stand this new breed of stuff in the last 3 or 4 years that tries to cram every weird sound they can into 1 track, it gets on my nerves real quick. Makes me think pick a damn melody and synth and stick with it plz.
Kinda sounds like someone scrolling through presets.
When I was a kid the thing that drew me into electronic music in the first place was the hypnotic repetition. That's kinda been a bit lost somehow in the last few years (though it still exists obviously).

The trend of trying to get as many midbass sounds into a track as possible kind of sounds cheesy to me.
