Would anyone be interested in Video Tutorials by me?

Post by daeMTHAFKNkim » Fri Oct 12, 2012 1:18 pm

I'm always down to help people out to improve & exceed in music.

I live for duh tunes bruh. I make all types of music... anyone down for some random tips & tricks on how I make melodies and such(Been seeing a lot of threads for melodies lately)? I think I exceed in melodies for sure. Everything I've made, I haven't used 1 "Loop" ever....everything I've made in synthesizers, one hit samples for drums(Vengeance, and random packs online that were free).

I play drums, guitar, and piano. I use FL Studio 10, and Ableton Live 8. Below is just an example of what I do/can do. Some of them are from messing around, not any serious shit. The two from "ChromaRhythm" is my serious shit I'm trying to finish.

I will answer ANY questions for any tip/trick technique for whatever songs...I fucking suck at finishing songs, got a million WIPs.

I'll start making Youtube Tutorials on the process of how I make songs and shit if you guys think I have something worthy to show.

AND I'M NOT PROMOTING MYSELF. NONE OF THEM ARE FINISHED. FUCK ME.

:z:

Here to help some noobs :w: , 1-on-1. Someone has to clean the pile of shit.... :h:

Sorry if this post was too bro for you. :U:

Shoutout to sunny_b_uk. <--- This dude helped me tons, wouldn't be where I am now in production without him. Helped me when I was a big noob exactly 1 year ago.

I think people will generally be interested in more "advanced" tutorials. All the basics are already covered on youtube.

I use superior drummer sometimes if I want a 'bigger', more orchestral feel. They have some awesome hits with different types of drumsticks, padded, and the spindly ones, don't know what they're called in english etc. Pretty cool for like marching band drums and stuff, unfortunately I don't have that library installed atm. Used to use it a lot for my hardcore band but they can also find their way into some EDM. Cymbals also work nice because they sound different on each hit as opposed to samples. Also fun to play with velocity as they're all different sounds.

respect for the shoutout!
wow i didnt realise i was that helpful
yeah no harm in a few basic tutorials but i agree there's a lot of tuts already so maybe you could do runthroughs of your tracks & how you did certain parts etc, i notice people on youtube demand those lately.
also some advanced tutorials would be good since iv hardly seen anything like that on youtube.

I'm really new to fl would love a few pointers, definitely interested. I understand the basics just need ALOT of time to get even close to where most of you are.

I don't have EZdrummer on the computer I produce with....I had Cubase on my realllllly old Dell that I don't have anymore. So nope! I wasn't into "EDM" or really knew about the production side about it until last year.

No problem sunnyb! I remember sending you a wall of text with questions haha...and you sent me a wall of text back. Really kick started my knowledge with "Mixing" and using Effects and what-not.

I work everyday except Fridays and Sundays...so I'll try my best to get it squeezed in my schedule. I've never done a video before like this so It's going to suck ass haha....I want it short & sweet/straight to the point but the same time I want to try and make a track in the video...and explain my thinking process while doing it...dunno if you guys are down for that. Might be boring as shit.
