so as some of you know i recently built my hackintosh. now im trying to work on some songs i had started on my macbook pro. i have the project files on the hackintosh but the project files are mising a few things such as patches i made in stock as well as 3rd party plugins. also things like i made a looped 808 bass kick for my sub bass and saved it to esx. im missing that. also im missing things like my tape delay settings that make it just a tape saturation effect.

so my question is how can i transfer these saved patches/settings to my hackintosh?

You maybe should have used migration assistant to transfer your laptop apps files and whatever to the new machine,

It depends if your patches are channel strips or exs24 ect. Usually they are kept in

~/library/audio/plugin settings
Or ~/library/application support/logic

Yeah migration assistant would have been your best bet, I lost a few bits and pieces (a couple of random sampler instruments and a few Apple loops, no idea why), but most of my stuff was intact, you shouldn't really be having a problem with channel strip settings in saved projects because Logic usually saves the tracks as they are, as opposed to saving which channel strip presets were used,

Like Depone said, your custom channel strip settings will be in USERNAME/Library/Application Support/Logic/Channel Strip Settings,

In terms of EXS instruments, unless you ticked the option to save it with the project they can be hard to track down. If you still have your old MacBook it might be an idea to go onto that and save them to a new folder to transfer over and use.
