Logic being a fucktit

So, I started to work on my mixdown of my track today.
However, when I listened carefully I could hear some EQ automation and Rbass automation going on, which I didn't assign.
After looking into it, I saw Logic randomly placed automations of the lowshelve EQ and on my RBass gain in some section.
I never automate the lowshelve EQ and I would never automate my Rbass gain so I'm baffled.

I first thought my dog did it because I always test the tunes out on him so I bet he's got some awesome mixing ears now.

What could be the issue here? I've never had this ever before.

P.S. Whenever I make a correction on one of the notes it seems to create another 'block' (no clue what it is called, you know, that shit you write/play your notes on) over the original one, creating 2 different melodies on top of eachother.

Thank you in advance!

i've had logic mess up automation on me. particularly it just wont do the automation as i drew it. also before when i was drawing automation for one track i clicked on another by accident and it automatically started automation for that track when i didnt even click on the sequencer grid or select a parameter. but my cases were very rare and isolated so i chalked it up to just a random bug. did you try deleting the automation and then restarting logic? i noticed quitting logic and opening it back up sometimes gets rid of the bugs.

I deleted the automation and saved and closed Logic but when I opened it again drew random automations again.
I guess I should completely close logic instead of the file alone, worked with minor 'bugs' before.
Thanks

You're probably in Latch mode.

Kinda unrelated: sometimes when assigning automation in FL Studio it automatically assigns it to my reverb inserts and not the plugin I wanted.

your bug sounds highly illogical

I've had this happen before too. But it only happens when I'm looping a certain section and adjusting a parameter. For some reason Logic makes it into automation.

I hate when ur holding a key and logic sticks the sound non stop when adjusting a parameter at te same time as holding the key. But it's easily fixed by bypassing the instrument

Holy fucktits batman. Logic does the same shit to me. Such a pain in the ass. It will write automation were I didn't assign any. It mostly does it with volume levels though.

I should have never posted in this thread.

I never had this problem before & and last night it did it to me.

I keep closing program & "delete all automation" for entire project, but it snaps back.

WTF :corntard:
