Not being a dick but when u say the sounds arent great, what do u mean exactly? Just so i know..fuz wrote:The sounds aren't great, but it's really well-written, very cool arrangement.
Ok yeah i know what you mean. Im sort of limited as i dont have many soft synths to work with so i should probably start to buy some more or learn to use the ones i have better. Thanks for the feedback.fuz wrote:The sawtooth lead with delay and the shorter one, I found them real cold, like some default patches. Sorry for not elaborating it a bit more.
Maybe it's an intention to have that kind of almost chiptune sounding.
Once again, it's great arrangement and writing.
Thanks for listening !erosx wrote:It has kind of a future garage feel to it, post-dub even,... quite like how it's minimal sounding. The shuffly hi-hats you did in some parts like 0:33 gives it a nice groove and garage sound. Overall quite enjoyed it, you're a good producer keep it at.
A bit of overdrive or some resonant filtering could beef it up. Maybe it's not what you're shooting for. Just my 3.5 cents.binakversailles wrote:fuz wrote:Im sort of limited as i dont have many soft synths to work with

There are many amazing free synths out there.
Try out Oatmeal, Zebralette, Rez , Tyrell, Tal Noizemaker, Elektro, etc.
