I am making a remix that will be more melodic and chill than most tracks, and I want a wobble bass that would sound good in a melody, with little or no other wobbles. songs like:

dj fenner and quazzer - i was wrong
dream - this isnt house

I dont know my way around massive, so if someone could point me in the direction of a tutorial, that would be great

tis rocket science when you struggle making one wobble...like i said, i dont know my way around massive, and i dont know what any of those things you said are... :/

Sorry but the fact you don't know how to use a low pass filter (or even how to setup a sine wave patch) shows you haven't spent any time within the synth at all, let alone read the manual. The filter section is clearly obvious within the synth and 5 minutes of playing around should help you to grasp the basics. Making stuff like the tracks you posted doesn't just come from following a tutorial - it comes from months of learning how a synth works and how to use it to create original sounds. If you're just going to follow tutorials you're tracks are never going to stand out as being unique, they'll just sound like half arsed attempts at copying professional tracks. My tips to learning the ins and outs quickly: make a melody then mess with everything in the synth to understand what it does to the sound, if you don't get why something does what it does look it up in the manual.

alright, well first id like to say obviously i know i wont make a track as good as the ones i listed, but ill take your advice thanks...

I used to be like you, erm.. lets see, about 3 years ago... Always asking for the simple way to do things... There isn't no simple way.. Just bust ass, and learn how to do what you need to do.. If you don't know Massive well, then Youtube how to use it... Just cause it's a mainstream VST, doesn't mean it's easy to use...

Go check out the distance sub-bass tut on youtube. I he uses Massive and makes a sub bass should cover you.
