Rotterdam based producer Christopher Yikes, fresh off his debut release on Inna Riddim joins the Phantom Hertz family on ‘Low Voltage Volume 39′, which features two minimal and meditative dubstep songs ‘Pathway’ and ‘Hollow Earth’. Coming from a very musical family and background, Christopher now focuses his attention on the deep end of the 140 b.p.m. bass music spectrum, with unique and diverse production styles that draw from his vast range of influences.

A nice front page review for this release on Juno:

"Dutch sub-magician Yikes makes his debut on Phantom Hertz with this neat two-track affair. Both numbers are cut from a similar dub cloth... Deep, alien textures, spiked slo-mo acid lasers and canyon-like grooves. "Pathway" is the more brooding of the two as an inward, paranoid bass groove loops with a sad smile. "Hollow Earth" is a tad more uplifting thanks to some deft piano touches."
