The new youtube and facebook

Ok is anyone disappointed with the new youtube layout? As a person who uses it for convenience and design it's taken a step back into social media land and such. Even design wise it's not even centered and as a content provider they lost the bit linking you with commentators/subs.
Facebook I noticed has started to censor (just list youtube links as youtube instead of the vid title for the link) for youtube links.
Thoughts?

Facebook is also slowly, but surely censoring shared events too. Fuck dat. If people were smart and didn't want event invites, they could A) just not be friends with those people, or B) JUST BLOCK ALL INVITES FROM PERSON X

until like two weeks ago, thanks to threads on this forum all i got was chillstep, super mega filthy drops 7 hour mix, insane clown posse and pro wrestling.
i felt so dumb and ashamed looking at it.
i took a picture of it a while back to illustarte but it's different now though i started watching other shit.

Have you ever watched an EVE video? I watched some DayZ videos a while back and now there's pretty much always DayZ videos at the top of my 'related' videos no matter what I'm watching.

What I hate is say I watch some random videos (aka go to that part of youtube) and my subscriptions etc seem to make no difference. Also another bit that irks the shit out of me is getting shown what my subscriptions like/watch. I don't give a shit, and often it seems to supersede the content they upload in the semi blogroll.

I was trying to find a video quickly last night with safari/iphone. As far as I could see, the layout youtube uses on mobile doesn't even have a search window/bar anymore...
