Looping in abelton

How do you make seamless loops on the fly in ableton without having to stop, and fix the postion of the notes?

press loop in the clip down the bottom after you have trimmed it perfectly then consolidate

I don't want to have to stop and trim the clip. I want to be able to do this all on the fly without stopping.

This is why if you are an ableton dj type you need to pre prepare tracks.
Its best do cut everything into loops and ideally isolate elements so you have more control (and you are actually live - not just playing tracks)
