He used to be so sick, but on his new programme 'Apocalypse' the guy hes doing a trick on has no idea he's even on the show and ia sitting on this bus, then all of sudden Darren Brown just walks up from behind him clicks his fingers and the guy goes to sleep and then he walks the guy unconscious to a hospital bed. I'm 99% sure its fake and, not only that but when the guy wakes up, supposedly during the end of the world he just doesnt look believable, just looks like shit acting.

But seriously, didn't it come out that the guy was an actor? Like, it was on his twitter that he was an actor, then he changed the name of his twitter when somebody called him out.

Haha bull*** and i dunno man, but seriously watching part 2 now and it's laughable. Swear Darren Brown used to be good too, and he used to call people out and tell them it's all illusion, now he's just become a joke. An hour of stretched out joke.

Derren Brown became what he despised, and illusionist.

Years back he was great and showed it how it was; he proved that psychology was heavily involved with 'magic' and although he wasn't doing 'magic', his mindtricks were equally as entertaining.

I haven't seen this but I remember growing tired of his stuff a while back, when he started doing stupid stuff.

Bullshit, if the guy was supposed to have been asleep for 2 weeks, would he not have noticed that he has the same very small amount of facial hair that he did that same day?

I think it was actually quite good. Fair enough he is an illusionist but he isnt trying to pass himself of as a wizard or something.
The actors could have been better really but tbh if all that shit happened to me i would believe its true aswel, news reports radios talking about it, fucking exposions on the bus and waking up in hospital would have me pretty certain it wasnt a prank.
The guy was already hypnotised from the interviews that derren had done months before so it makes sense really.
I did like the old trick of the mind programs and mind control but if he kept doing them it would just get boring. Theres only so long you can keep redressing the same psycology tricks so now hes moved to actually improving peoples lives After all why would you spend so much time and money planning this only to use an actor when you could try it on a real person. Just kinda like when he bet that persons 5 grand on a roulette wheel a couple years back and almost got it right but failed.. he could have used actors and a fake casino to make him look good but whats the point?
i have alot of respect for what he does

I'm with this view. Whether it's real, fake, illusion, ballshit, whatever it is, it got me questioning myself and my actions. Fair enough I've been pretty mental recently and questioning my life and what the point of it is, so maybe i'm more likely look at it more deeply and am more receptive to what's being said rather than questioning the realness of it, but I felt better about things having watched it. I've always been pretty susceptible to things like that though. I always look to find something to learn from things, even if it's just a film, or a song. I find things i relate to and it draws me in deeper.

This program did make me look at my own life and take stock of it. It's made me think that I want to look into mentoring a disadvantaged kid (there's a scheme that runs locally) and that maybe that will give me more of a sense of purpose and also hopefully help a kid have a better life too, so bullshit program or not, it's had a positive effect, so it can't be that bad.

Yeah i just meant i don't even think the guy was hypnotised & I think he knew it was all a Derren Brown trick. His reaction was hardly fitting for some who woke up in a post-apocalyptic world surrounded by 'zombies', and he just didn't seem genuine what so ever throughout the programme. I also don't think Derren Brown can knock you out over the phone.

& @ drty - yeah he did used to say that, but on these new shows he swears it's all real, but i just don't buy it. Mainly how he clicks people to sleep

i dunno i thought he looked pretty ill when he started realising what happend, looked quite pale in the face and didnt talk too much and towards the end he was sweating loads and seemed to be hyperventilating, could have been acting but i rekon it looked pretty real.
he did also release a video on youtube talking to the guy afterwards dicussing the guys acting profile on the website and it was even confirmed that the profile was never fully active as he hasnt had any acting training or experience previous
