New OoGuN dub and Dubhall tune (what's Dubhall?? see inside)

Post by OoGuN » Mon Aug 13, 2007 11:34 pm

EZ,

couple of new things on myspizzle:
Kikeko Dub and a Dubhall tune called Gimme Weed (ay that's the name).

Dubhall= dancehall beats with wobble/ dubstep bass weight.

interested to know what u think, especially of the Dubhall tune..

Peace

OoG

btw to all the people that pm'ed for 320s of Sun RA Dub etc.. it's now been mastered so I'll get my fat ass into gear and sort them out..

i like the idea but i wasn't feelin the synthy bass lick. maybe somtin more sub low and warbley. but definently and interesting idea. it would work well here in orlando as the dance hall scene is pretty big. i could see it as a good sound to advocate some dancehall heads to cross over into the dubstep realm. word! big up dubstep!!!! :D

the drums on Gimme Weed are awesome, the kick drum sound is so fat. Very original sounding tune :E:

Thanks all of you for the feedback!

Sean, interested to know dancehall is big in FL :) My idea with the dubhall is to always have a dubstep tune on A-side and dubhall on the AA side, exactly for the reason you twigged.

and hold tight mr Diss, it'll all be worth it

Damn, Oogun that's some way down deepness! Gravity doubled for a two-block radius when that shit dropped! Any chance of swiping a 320? Luv to drop it in the next set out here Tokyo way.

Keep working on the Dubhall stuff. Like the idea, but the straightahead dubby dubstep is stronger, IMO. The beats are down, but I think the bass riff needs to set back more or sump'n. Anyhow, pEacE!

kikeko is a nice and easy summer festival roller, the sort that goes down well with a sunny warm afternoon and a cold beer in a tent in the english countryside

put me down for a sun-ra 320 - that sub makes me feel sick! :D
