Mixdown is very loud and sounds like it's distorting a lot when the kick hits.

Major kick distortion as Wub mentioned.
Also loop is just rinse and repeat.
You need variation in your drum pattern.
Variation in the atmosphere, etc.

Maybe it's my headphones...can't see a single reference to distortion in any of the Soundcloud comments. Maybe it's just me?
