Mixdown help request for hiphop dubstep track

Howzit all, I could really use some help doing a proper mixdown using an mp3-sourced, plugin-mastered instrumental with a pretty clean vocal WAV. I gave it my best shot and put it on SoundCloud (you can also download it thru there), but I'd be really appreciative if anybody wanted to take it upon themselves to try and do a better job mixing the two together.
I would of course give you proper credits, and my sincere thanks. Here's the SoundCloud version; not really ideal:
Soundcloud
Here's a link to the instrumental (yes, I realize this is an mp3 file -- its the best sourcefile I have):

Here are 2 different a capellas, one is just louder than the other (I can get you a WAV if you really want, just ask):
http://www.cyrusfx.com/institute/wp-con ... ella.2.mp3

I realize you're not working with the best source material but any attempt to make it sound fuller and louder would be very much appreciated. Mahalo, from two dudes in Honolulu who are still trying to make dubstep happen despite the sweltering, 2nd-world conditions of the tropics!

Peace be with you, and also with you,
FX

The vocals are really really wet, can you make a version where they are a little dryer, or mp3 a dry version for me to layer under. I can't clean up/give more punch to the diction of the vocal when every time I do it causes wild echoes to drown out the beat.

TRy this though for now. I had to completely push the phase of the vocal to the edges of the mix to go for a somewhat stereo vocal. If I had the dry vocals I could slot them right in the middle and it would sound awesome but right now the vox you gave is too wet with effects.

I see what you mean... I think I do have a few other versions of the a capella. I have to push off to a job interview right now but I'm gonna play with it a bit tomorrow. Thanks for the tips, sincerely appreciated. I'll put up a new, "dryer" vocal if I can find it.
Thanks to you too RARRR_, I'm gonna keep your version, and feel free to use it if you should ever want to, in whatever capacity, of course.

So... I know its been about 8 months, but any chance you would still be up for this project? I finally found a WAV file of the original track, and I got a "dry" acapella version. Here are the two components in one ZIP file:

if anybody wouldn't mind doing me a solid and putting these two files together, it would be most greatly appreciated and you would have my utmost respect. Even if you're just doing it for some practice, you can likely put these together better than I could.
THANK YOU, YOU WONDERFUL AND TALENTED PEOPLE!!!
