Hey. It's me again. I'm made quite a few songs why I was not here, but I've decided to share my latest one.
Soundcloud
I'm having a few equalizing and mixing problems. It doesn't sound "crispy" yet to me. anyway to fix that?
Software used:
Fl studio
reFX Nexus 2
Ni Massive
Vengeance Essential Dubstep/club sounds

Hey dude nice track, you've definitely got some good ideas. I like the frantic hat pattern, really adds a lot of interest. This is going to sound bad but I really dislike that extra layer that appears at 1:36. For the most part the saw sounded good, I dunno I just really dislike that ravey sort of synth sound. Just my preference though.
It definitely is a bit muddy. Try creating a space for each sound in the mix so they can all have their own breathing room and not have to elbow each other to be heard. There are some good some EQ guides out there ... Ah here's one:

Also when arranging, I know it's tempting to have a lot of layers really loud the whole time, but having softer sections and louder sections gives the song room to grow rather than just a sonic assault. Not that your track is a sonic assault by any means, just something to keep in mind.
Overall though nice work! Hope I helped!

Nice job. I listened to trance before any other EDM, so I keep that sound in mind every time I work on a track. It's nice to see when other people mix the two genres. Have you thought about using some kind of vocal sample?

Thanks a bunch. I was having mixed feelings about the extra sound that your mentioning, but are you not liking the sound or the whole layer? Should I change it ore get rid of it.

maybe. I haven't put voice samples in many of them.
