Couple of hidden gem videos from Russian Andi Vax where he looks in depth at the mixing process. If you've got a few hours to kill, well worth a look 8)

Is watching this worthwhile for an amateur at mixdowns? I can't watch any of it right now but I'm just wondering if I should check it out later.

I learned something in the first 8 minutes.

Also a question:

In the video he is using a plugin to make the mix mono.
Is there another way to do that in Cubase 5, besides getting a new plugin =?

€dit: or do you know of any free plug ins ?

You can click a "mono" button on the master, or there is GStereo, in the Gvst beta section. Melda utility may work?

Otherwise, Cubase probably has a stereo tool.
