perhaps the contrast of the absolutely gully beat and the ludicrous lyricism is supposed to be a comment on the emptiness of consumerism...but that is a stretch

It's all about the SAS mixtapes back in 2003 - 2004. Back when Chace Infinite, Planet Asia and Xzibit were still with them. They haven't been the same since.
