The conventional thing used to be to experiment, so I'd consider those ridds to be more conventional dubstep than the huge amount of cookie cutter bro shit coming out at the moment.

Yeah i hear of people considering the "purple" Which is in reference to blues chord progressions im assuming. Any more you know of?
if u like purple then may i suggest: l-wiz, kahn, hyetal & shortstuff, machinedrum, starkey, desto, 2000f & j kamata there loads but cant just think of anyhting else right now
