Yeah he should have waited for two years and then said he just started making music.

It's good to get feedback; you're allowed to post your early stuff.

It's easy to be better than the worst.

When I first started I posted my very first track on Dogsonacid with the headline "This track will crush your head" hahaha

The first reply was "Is this a morbid joke?"

Ahhh, the joys of youthful confidence. It was a great way to get tons of listens though. I did that a few times and my third track was number 1 on electronicscene.com for a minute because it had been listened to so many times. hahah

yeah! sometimes listeining to my own soundcloud which i didn't update since a half year helps too :) https://soundcloud.com/big-md

i used to feel what i made, and do on some of these tunes still, but seeing how you got better from tune to tune makes feelings a lot better than pointing on others.

there's nothing worse than pointing on others. if you can help them emprove, HELP! if not STFU!

just my oppinion.

Haha, sounds very much like my first tracks way back when, and I felt bad enough about playing them to the people who introduced me to production. Would never have posted online, jeez, i didnt post ANY of my stuff online for until I had been at it for 2, nearly 3 years!

Yeah tbf its much better to look at your own stuff if your feeling shitty about your skills, I definitely dont think my stuff is much cop but I feel much better when I listen my first attempt followed by my latest one.

Yea definitely. The biggest ego boost for me is knowing how much I've improved :)

^ this. Laugh at yourself, not at others (unless they're hilarious, like Louis CK :P)

Laughing at yourself is bad for your self esteem.

You look really insecure about your abilities when you have to put down the skills of others.

Think of this way, you want to have the best car on the block. What do you do? a) Smash up the other cars, or b) By a better one?

My point is that pushing everybody else down is not the easiest, most beneficial, or most ethical way of being the best at a task, more effective would be to improve your own skills.

Anyway, we're all different amounts of shit. A black belt is a white belt who kept training...
