How does this work? Just purchased Kontakt, and I cant' seem to figure out how to use Midi CC. Everything else was pretty easy to figure out without using manual. But I'm stumped and cbf into reading small print.

What I'm trying to do is link the cutoff to my Akai MPK's knob 1, but I can't get it to work. I also tried to create an automation clip (FL) instead, but couldn't do that either.

Any help?

3.8.1 Assigning MIDI Controllers
to assign any of KONTAKT’s sliders or knobs to a certain MIDI controller:
1 Click the knob or slider you want to assign a MIDI controller to.
2 Select Learn MIDI CC# Automation.
3 Turn the knob or move the slider on your MIDI hardware controller.
The control should pick up the movement instantly. You can add additional MIDI controllers (CC#s) to the same KONTAKT knob. You can also assign multiple knobs or sliders to the same MIDI controller.

this is from the Konakt 4 manual

Perhaps someone else can read the manual and just tell you the good bits?

Yeh, I prefer spoilers tbf. :6:

I couldn't find anything in the manual that relates to midi CC working in standalone, but not when ran as a DAW.

EDIT: I got it guys, I had to do it manually through the Auto tab in browser. Then on top of that I had to then play a note, then go to Tools>Last Tweaked in FL to both link to controller and make an automation clip. I don't understand why, but I figured it out.

Thanks guys.
