Blogs and stuff

Post by neonmansion » Thu Dec 20, 2012 3:54 pm

Does anyone know of some decent blogs that might feature some of my music? Basically I've been doing music for some years but I'm just starting off as far as releasing full length tracks and I wanted to get some wider exposure as opposed to a few plays on soundcloud. I don't know if my tracks are at the level to be featured on some of the top blogs so perhaps there is someone with a blog that is more into supporting grass roots up-and(hopefully)coming producers?

So if you've got a blog, know about one, or just looking to collab with someone who is hellbent on producing music just hit me up!

If your confident in your music, Do research. I can't stress this enough. Your only going to get back what you put in. Google music blogs for your style of music and get to sending dubs, send them to djs, hop on soundcloud and spam. Its not going to come to you.

it means sending out a mp3 / soundcloud link with a concise, well written, personalized email to the blogs and music sites that you think might like your music - dont mass mail everyone on the entire internets tho

i reckon it would take you about an hour of browsing to get a list of people / blogs you could email, not that hard really....
it sounds like you make brostep and there are plenty of sites around catering to that sound
