NoGoodInk - C.F.S. [Dubstep/Electro Free Track]

Post by NoGoodInk » Wed Jan 02, 2013 3:16 am

Hey guys, happy first day of 2013.

This is my first track in a while, but I am trying to set a new standard for myself this year, as well as try to be more frequent with my music.

This is a dubstep/electro track that is decently heavy, but keeps a melodic electro style that I tried to make over ride the usual heavy-ness you hear alot lately!

I hope you guys enjoy it! Any and all feedback would be appreciated.

Drums are a bit on the weak side and could do with beefing up a bit to cut through the mix a little more.

Ok, drums have been my weak spot for a while now, so I look at this as an improvement. But I get that they aren't quite up to par yet :P. Anything you like about the track?

The radio style outro at the end was quite interesting, was surprised it wasn't introduced earlier, maybe as a precursor to the drop.

Yeah, again, I see what you mean there. I feel that the over-use of it could have made it a bit stale; That and I just like to keep my noises/samples fresh in the song, something that is unique and can only be pointed out in a particular point on the track. (You will notice a few unique one use sounds all over in the song)

I think you did some great work with this track. Keep it up.

I agree maybe a little more drums, some quicker hats here and there might help liven things up a bit.

Thanks man! Glad you liked it.

Yeah like I said above, I am still working on my drum skills as I go, it will take a bit, but I think I will get better soon.
