Basti Haze - Keep it clean (Dubstep)
New track by Basti Haze
Re: Basti Haze - Keep it clean (Dubstep)
Drums are very weak, the kick/snare are getting lost behind that midrange warbling for most of the tune.

I agree with wub. The whole mix doesn't seem to be very coherent and cohesive, even level-wise. Are you using any kind of global (short) reverb to generate any kind of "coherent space" to the mix? Also the drums sound too thin and out of context for my taste, specially the snare. I think this could be a case of Too Much Bass© judging by the drop at 1:51.

Volume of the bass too loud in relation to the rest of your mix. Check Fletcher-Munson curves if still in doubt.

Mixing is pretty weak, the lead sound is in my opinion bad aswell, drop has no energy at all, arpeggio is totally lost, chord prog needs improvement.
On the second drop it's better, the sounds mix quite nice till modern talking comes in. 4x4 has no energy too. Nice effects before hihats.
