New to producing dubstep :P Got some questions..
I am new to dubstep producing, and I want to produce some simple dubstep first and I am using reaper, I want to install plug ins, but I just dunno how to install and what plugin should I install and how do I install?
Re: New to producing dubstep :P Got some questions..
1. Put them in a directory like C:\Program Files\VSTPlugins
(Some plugins install themselfs in C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VSTPlugins if nothing else is choosen
2. Select this directory in Reaper under Options - Preferences - Plug-Ins - VST and click Rescan
For plugins try this:
http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/nov10/a ... 1110-1.htm
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oc1kkJQcLyQ
http://www.dubstepforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=201334
http://www.dubstepvst.com/tutorial-dubs ... -in-reaper
Enjoy!
Any more questions?
Just google "reaper dubstep plugins & synth" and you'll get some results

Re: New to producing dubstep :P Got some questions..
There are no specific dubstep plugins, and if they are then they are most likely a rip off.
There are synths which makes sounds, and effects which do specific things like reverb, delay, flanger, glitch/stutter, compression etc

Re: New to producing dubstep :P Got some questions..
I thought Reaper came with some stock plugins, the ReaPlugs suite?
Re: New to producing dubstep :P Got some questions..
Reaper does come w/ plugins. No synths though I don't think.
